Description

The Weaving of cedar, a cultural tradition of our Lummi Nation. I've been blessed to learn from one of the late Master weavers of Lummi. He had many students in his lifetime, and his teachings will be carried on for generations to come. o/ I created this mat, in his honor.
I personally plan to print this on a face mask, and tapestry/blanket. In this photo, I aimed to capture the beauty of the natural colors of the bark, and the depth in the pattern. This creation was good medicine, and I hope to pass that good medicine on to you. Hysh'qe! Thank you! o/
